Outline of Your Spiritual Journey
Below is a basic overview of your trip. A detailed itinerary will follow based on your package selection:
- Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu. Warm welcome, hotel transfer, and submission of your passport and photos for the Tibet visa.
- Day 2: Visa processing begins. Sightseeing at Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa. Evening exploration of Thamel.
- Day 3: Visits to Pashupatinath Temple, Guhyeshwari, and Jal Narayan. Afternoon briefing and shopping time.
- Day 4: Explore Dhulikhel, Banglamukhi Temple, and other landmarks. Prepare for the Yatra.
- Day 5: Drive or optional helicopter transfer to Kyirong border.
- Day 6: Scenic drive to Saga (4,600m), crossing stunning mountain passes and grasslands.
- Day 7: Arrive at Holy Mansarovar Lake (4,550m). Holy dip and Parikrama. Stay at Chu Gumpa or Darchen.
- Day 8: Perform spiritual Pooja and Havan at Mansarovar. Drive to Darchen.
- Day 9: Start Mt. Kailash Parikrama trek. Trek to Charan Sparsh if available.
- Day 10: Continue Parikrama via Dolma-la Pass to Zuthulpuk.
- Day 11: Return to Saga.
- Day 12: Drive to Kyirong.
- Day 13: Cross the China border back to Kathmandu.
- Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu.
